FAQs

  • Cleaning and Maintenance Guide

    General

    • What is the most suitable type of detergent for sports floors?

You should always use pH-neutral detergents. Unsuitable products can cause irreversible damage to the coating and compromise the floor's integrity.

    • Which cleaning materials should I avoid?

Avoid any abrasive materials that can scratch surfaces, such as metal scourers or steel wool. Always opt for soft textures (mops or soft brushes).

    Indoor Spaces

    • Why is vacuuming so important in gyms?

In addition to hygiene, vacuuming removes abrasive debris that, if left on the floor, accelerates wear and tear and damages the surface due to constant friction.

    • Can I use scrubbing machines on indoor flooring?

Yes, provided they have soft brushes. It is essential to check beforehand if the machine is suitable for your specific type of flooring.

    • What is the main risk of poor hygiene?

Intense physical activity and sweat promote the growth of pathogens. Proper cleaning is vital to ensure the biological safety of all users.

    Outdoor Spaces

    • How can I make debris removal easier in outdoor areas?

Due to the higher accumulation of dirt, you can use leaf blowers, appropriate brooms, or hoses with running water to speed up the process.

    • Are the cleaning rules for outdoors different from indoors?

The recommendations are the same (soft cleaning and pH-neutral products), only adapting the debris removal tools to handle the larger volume of natural outdoor waste.

  • How to lay the flooring on the ground?

Simply lay the tiles in the desired location. Due to the high weight of each tile - 15mm is 13kg and 25mm is 22kg - it will not be necessary to glue the floor to the ground.

We do not recommend gluing the floorboards down.

  • How to finish the flooring?

You can cut the edges of the floor with a new blade.

The 25mm tiles will be a little more difficult to cut, but the other thicknesses, both in rolls and tiles, are easy to cut.

  • Can the flooring be used outdoors?

We don't recommend using this flooring outdoors, as temperature fluctuations and bad weather tend to warp and wear out the rubber more quickly.
For outdoor use, we recommend SBR rubber tiles, which are commonly seen/used in children's playgrounds (link below).
